Recently, I’ve been trying to eliminate all emotions besides happiness from myself and I feel better than I ever did in my whole life! So I thought I would use this space to give you tips on how to become a happier person because I believe that everyone deserves to be happy!

First things first: Happiness is the state of being satisfied. You are the one who sets your own standards, so you are under control of your happiness. Therefore, you have no excuses to not be happy. By choosing to be upset, you are letting your opponents win because their goal is to make you feel bad. Unhappiness is a symbol of defeat.

Life will always have ups and downs. It can not always be up, or always be down. So whenever you experience a down, you can always expect that life now owes you an up!!

1) HAPPINESS=PRODUCTIVITY=ACHIEVING GOALS..

You will never be successful if you do not enjoy what you do because you will not have the motivation to work for it. Again, you can technically force happiness on yourself by changing your perspective on things. Make happiness a priority.

For example, I used to dread going to school every day. Now, I look at school as a place where I can learn new things to improve myself as a person. Because I love myself and love to improving myself and becoming a better person, I love going to school.

Every morning before I leave for school, I always make sure to tell everyone in my family about how excited I am to go to school because I love learning!! At first, it was sarcasm, but constantly repeating that everyday developed into true feelings.

2) LOVE YOURSELF.

Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. We are all talented in different subject areas so you have no excuse to feel inferior just because someone is better at one thing than you are. Ignore negativity, only dwell on the positives because negativity is not worth your time.

You can’t change others but you can change your attitude. You dont have to be the best, you just have to make the best of it.

Record your accomplishments. When i do so, I acknowledge myself that i am an awesome person. This is one of my main motivations to make my blog. When I am having a low self esteem day, I try to reflect about what went wrong, and try to change my perspective by turning it into something good so I have no excuse to feel bad about myself. I also try to tell myself that I am still an awesome person and one small mistake will never change that fact.

Constantly take pride in your accomplishments. When I am running in race, I try my best to stay away from negative thoughts. I think to myself about why I am here. I am here because my love and hard work for running enabled me to do so. I think about how fortunate I am to be able to be so good at running and I should take advantage of this opportunity to prove to myself that I a awesome.

You are always good enough. Just because you are not successful now, does not mean that you will never be successful. It’s true that nothing in life comes free and it’s also true that you can accomplish any goal through practice so just keep an open mind because you will always have room for improvement!
